Built for the UPSC grind.
Log GS, Optional, and Essay sessions by voice.
Say "Three hours on Polity, Chapter 5 — fundamental rights" and Provra fuzzy-matches it to your syllabus, records your focus score, and updates your GS Paper II progress. No manual entry.
- Covers GS Paper I, II, III, IV, Optional, Essay, and CSAT
- Fuzzy-matched to NCERT and standard reference topics
- Session duration accepted from 2 minutes to 12 hours
Nightly plans that respect your stage of prep.
Whether you're in foundation phase, test series, or mains revision — Provra reads your recent sessions, your remaining syllabus, and your wellbeing signals to build tomorrow's schedule. You always wake up knowing what to study.
- Adjusts between Prelims and Mains focus automatically
- Accounts for optional subject weight
- Never blank — rule-based engine takes over if AI is slow
Catch burnout in 3 days, not 3 months.
UPSC prep is a marathon — most aspirants don't fail the exam, they fail the prep. Provra monitors your check-ins for 3 consecutive high-stress days and activates a Recovery Day: study cap at 4 hours, rest prioritised, burnout cleared.
- Detects sustained high-stress patterns in your check-ins
- Recovery cap: 4 study hours maximum
- Clears naturally once your wellbeing stabilises
Optional parental view for joint-family aspirants.
Many IAS aspirants study at home with family. Provra's parental dashboard gives parents a read-only summary of progress and streak — no transcripts, no stress numbers — so they feel informed without intruding.
- Off by default — you opt in from Settings
- Parents see sessions logged and streak, not content
- Revoke in two clicks, anytime
Does Provra cover the full UPSC syllabus?
Yes. Provra includes the official UPSC CSE syllabus for Prelims (GS + CSAT) and Mains (GS Paper I–IV, Essay, and all major Optional subjects). You can browse and track progress in the Syllabus tab.
How does Provra handle Prelims vs Mains preparation?
Provra detects your target date and adjusts plan weighting — Prelims-heavy in the months leading to CSE Prelims, Mains-heavy after. You can also manually toggle your focus stage in Settings.
Can I use Provra alongside a coaching institute?
Yes. Most aspirants use Provra alongside classroom coaching. Log what you study each day (from class, self-study, or test series) and Provra tracks cumulative progress and adjusts your plan around it.
Is my voice data stored?
No. Voice transcription runs in your browser using Whisper WebAssembly — audio never leaves your device. Only the resulting text session log is saved, and it's stored in a database encrypted at rest.
What happens if I miss a day or take a break?
Nothing bad. Provra treats missed days as rest — it simply adjusts the next plan without penalising your streak unless you opt in to streak tracking. You're preparing for a 2-year marathon, not a 30-day challenge.
Is the UPSC content free or Premium?
Session logging, streak tracking, and the full syllabus browser are free. Nightly AI study plans and burnout detection are Premium (₹999/year or ₹149/month).
